वो नटखट सा बचपन, वो प्यारी सी वाणी

वो पापा से पिटना, वो माँ की कहानी

वो भाई से लड़ना, दीदी से शैतानी

पड़ोसी के घर में वो कूद के जाना

मौहल्ले के बच्चों पे यूँ खिलखिलाना

दिवाली को हफ़्तों पहले से मनाना

होली पे गाँव के वो चक्कर लगाना

पापा की डाँट से वो बच-बच के जाना

मम्मी का वो चुपके से आके मनाना

भुलाए नहीं भूल सकता है कोई

वो नटखट सा बचपन वो प्यारी शैतानी

लौटा दो मुझे मेरी ज़िंदगानी ……..

पहला कदम वो स्कूल में रखना ,

पापा के हाथों से वो ऊँगली का छूटना

कक्षा में बैठ के वो आँसू बहाना

लंच ब्रेक में पापा से मिलने की आस लगाना

कूद के उनके गले लग जाना

और काँधे पे गंगा जमुना बहाना

उन्ही काँधों के बल पे वो आगे बढ़ना

कोशिश करते करते वो गिरना संभलना

पापा की मूंछो पे वो गुदगुदी करना

खिलखिलाते हुए माँ की आँचल में छिपना

यही बचपन कितना याद आएगा

मुझे ही नही माँ बाप को रुला जाएगा

बस यादें ही इस घर में रह जाएँगी

जो बुढ़ापे में उनको जीना सिखाएंगी

हर दुनिया की ख़ुशी उनके कदमों में रखना

उनको तुम पर गर्व हो इस काबिल बनना

कभी भी उन्हें तुम न छोड़ के जाना

तुम ही तो हो जीने का सहारा

उन्होंने जो किया तुम उसका एक-तिहाई ही करदो

उनके जीवन को खुशियों से भरदो

इस प्यारे से बचपन की देन वो ही हैं

अब तुम उनके बुढ़ापे को प्यारा करदो

लौटा दो उनको उनकी जिंदगानी
